2022 ERA Conference - COVID-19

COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOLS

After a year hiatus, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the time-honored tradition of the ERA Conference is returning, in-person, Feb. 27 – March 1, 2022. Nearly two years since the conclusion of our last in-person event in 2020, we are counting the days until we welcome you all back to Austin, Texas.

When the conference opens, it may look slightly different due to the state of Texas and the AT&T Executive Conference Center COVID safety guidelines.

The health and safety of everyone attending the 2022 ERA Conference is our top priority. As such, ERA will follow all current safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for all. We plan to communicate any additional COVID-related precautions right up to the first day of the event on Feb. 27, 2022.

We look forward to reconnecting in person in February; however, we understand that some will be hesitant. To ensure everyone’s safety we ask attendees to be respectful of one another and adhere to the mandated COVID safety guidelines as laid out by the state of Texas and the AT&T Executive Conference Center.

AT&T EXECUTIVE HOTEL & CONFERENCE CENTER HEALTH & SAFETY PLAN
The AT&T Executive Conference Center, which has been open and operational since August 2020, has laid out a thorough Health & Safety Plan made in accordance with input from University of Texas healthcare experts. You can view and download the center’s established protocols online at https://meetattexas.com/travel-with-confidence.

ERA ASKS FOR YOUR HELP
We acknowledge that no in-person event can be completely risk-free, and are asking you to do your part in helping ERA deliver a safe event.

Get vaccinated. If you are fully vaccinated, thank you! If you’re not, we urge you to get vaccinated. That is the best thing you can do to protect yourself and other attendees. Under the existing laws of Texas, ERA is unable to ask our attendees to show proof of vaccination or a recent negative COVID-19 test to enter the conference.

Make an informed decision about attending the conference. Before you visit, make sure you have considered your personal health situation and how you can best keep yourself and those close to you safe and healthy.

The Texas Department of State Health Services has a comprehensive webpage on COVID-19 with the latest information on testing, vaccinations, symptoms, what to do if you feel ill, protecting yourself and others, and more. Visit https://www.dshs.texas.gov/coronavirus/ for more information.

Mask wearing policy. Masks protect everyone. Plan to bring a mask. ERA will be providing masks at attendee check-in. Mask wearing is currently not mandated in Texas, nor will it be required at our conference. However, we are encouraging all of our attendees to make their own personal choice regarding their own safety and the safety of others while at the conference.

Use hand sanitizer or wash your hands frequently. The AT&T Center has multiple hand sanitizer stations available throughout the property. Please wash your hands and use sanitizer as often as possible.

Most of all, please respect your fellow conference attendees. We are all in this together!

Visit the CDC website for more information on how to protect yourself from COVID-19.
