ERA PUBLISHES NEW RESOURCE FOR MEMBERS

ERA proudly introduces a new resource for members, “Selling Effectively through Manufacturers’ Reps,” a comprehensive presentation that helps explain what a manufacturers’ rep is and why a principal should choose a rep firm for field sales. It gives a detailed picture of how a rep firm works, what the model delivers and effective strategies for success between the two parties. Reps may use this presentation as an onboarding tool for a new principal or an existing principal who may be new to manufacturers’ reps. It could even be used for new hires within the rep firm. The intention is that this module will help the rep firm and principal to enhance their mutual relationship. The presentation, created by Mark Motsinger, CPMR, president, Wallace Electronic Sales and Cesare Giammarco, ERA Consultant, covers what a manufacturers’ representative is; what the rep model delivers to the principal; the cost of running a rep firm; territory management; the legal relationship between the rep and principal; and more! ERA members can download the presentation HERE.
