MONTHLY POS REPORTS

Budde Marketing, which provides monthly POS Index reports to ERA members, issued its latest summary, running from January 2020 through November 2022. The index now includes more than 125 manufacturers. View the latest index.

November 2022 continued to show a downward trend in POS activity. November was the lowest month of POS since February 2022. On the plus side, November 2022 is 7 percent ahead of November 2021 and still way ahead of the January 2020 base point.

This year will cumulatively show a banner year for POS activity. However, the last three months have had slight decreases over record POS sales. We will make predictions for 2023 POS activity once calendar year 2022 is complete. Early projections are for a slight growth, but nothing near what we experienced in 2022.
