SWTest 2021 will be a hybrid conference, which means we will have in-person attendees at RBI, as well as virtual attendees who are not able to travel. Because of the Covid-19 pandemic and the uncertainty surrounding the early vaccine roll-out, we have pushed SWTest 2021 back from our traditional first week in June to late August. Hopefully, by then more people will be vaccinated and able to travel, and the state of California will have opened up substantially to allow large gatherings. We do not yet know if there will a limit on attendance, or what that limit might be.
The annual SWTest Conference is the only industry conference that focuses on all aspects of semiconductor wafer and die level probe testing. The conference has the perfect mixture of manufacturer and vendor presentations. It is not a sales show, nor an academic or theoretical conference. It is a probe technology forum where attendees come to learn about recent developments in the industry and exchange ideas.
SWTest 2021 will be a two and a half-day hybrid Conference and Expo that will begin Monday morning, August 30th with a Keynote Speaker, followed by the Technical Program with 30-minute presentations in theme-oriented sessions concluding at 12:30 p.m. Attendees will have lunch on their own and the afternoon for networking and meetings. The 10th annual Sponsors & Exhibitors golf tournament is scheduled for Monday afternoon, immediately following the technical session.
The SWTest EXPO, showcasing many of the key suppliers to the wafer probe industry, will have live audio and video chat, swag giveaways, and a scavenger hunt. The EXPO will take place Monday evening from 5 – 8 p.m. in the Bernardo and Catalina Ballrooms and will include the traditional cocktails and food stations. And, as always, there will be ample opportunities for networking in the Sponsor Hospitality Suites.
