At its 48th Management and Marketing Conference, held in Austin, Texas, Feb. 26-28, the Electronics Representatives Association (ERA) presented its first annual Tess Hill Award to long-time ERA staff member Tess Hill.

This award was created to honor Hill and others who succeed her for their dedication, dependable work and years of loyalty to ERA.

ERA CEO Walter Tobin said, “The Tess Hill Award will be presented annually to an individual who has worked tirelessly to advance the initiatives and spirit of ERA.”

Tobin described, “To receive this prestigious award, the individual needs to possess and portray a ‘can do’ attitude while winning others over to support whatever challenges or programs are presented to him/her. The individual needs to have that special trait to have others want to assist without even being asked. These traits so accurately reflect the person for whom this annual award is so aptly named, Tess Hill.”

ERA congratulates Hill on her well-deserved award and more than 50 years of devoted service to the association.

About ERA
The 82-year-old Electronics Representatives Association (ERA) is the international trade organization for professional field sales companies in the global electronics industries, manufacturers who go to market through representative firms and global distributors. It is the mission of ERA to support the professional field sales function through programs and activities that educate, inform and advocate for manufacturers’ representatives, the principals they represent and the distributors who are reps’ partners in local territories. ERA member representative firms (often called “reps”) provide field sales services on an exclusive basis to manufacturers of related (but non-competing) products in a defined territory.
