The Electronics Representatives Association (ERA) is pleased to honor Ellen Coan, CPMR, vice president of operations of C C Electro Sales, Inc., with the sixth annual Tess Hill Award, given to her at the 2023 ERA Conference in Austin, Texas, on Feb. 28, 2023.
The Tess Hill Award was created in 2017 to honor Tess Hill, a long-time ERA staff member. It recognizes individuals for their longevity of service to ERA, for inspiring volunteerism in its highest form and for their dedication to ERA’s educational mission.
“It takes a village. This whole community is amazing,” said Coan. “I want to thank every one of you, we couldn’t do it without you. Education is the key to ERA. My mom started her company in 1981 and the first thing she did was join ERA and this is the event it’s become.”
Coan, vice president of operations at C C Electro, Inc., also serves on ERA’s executive committee as the senior vice president of education. She oversees ERA’s Mark Motsinger White Pin Internship program, facilitates ERA’s NEXGEN special interest group, and is the educational liaison for ERA’s virtual sales training held each fall, as well as the annual ERA conference. She is also active in the Indiana-Kentucky ERA chapter. Coan was the 2018 recipient of the Jess Spoonts / ERA White Pin Scholarship Award.
