MONTHLY POS REPORTS

Budde Marketing, which provides monthly POS Index reports to ERA members, issued its latest summary, running from January 2020 through October 2022. The index now includes more than 125 manufacturers. View the latest index.

October of 2022 was down from the previous five months, but still up by over 9 percent when comparing it to October of 2021. 2022 is at a run rate of 21 percent ahead of 2021. Of course, the beginning of last year was still in the throes of COVID-19 and reflected slower POS activity. We anticipate a good finish for the year; however, the last three months of 2022 will show a trend for POS activity moving into 2023.

> ERA is pleased and honored to announce that Michael J. Long, executive chairman of Arrow Electronics, Inc. has been named the 2023 recipient of the ERA Lifetime Achievement Award. The award will be presented to Long at February’s ERA Conference in Austin, Texas, in recognition of his service to the electronics industry, manufacturers’ representatives and ERA. The Lifetime Achievement Award was created to recognize individuals who play an integral role in supporting the manufacturers’ representative model in the electronics industry. Read more.
