MONTHLY POS REPORTS
As we close out 2024 POS index numbers, we see that December was basically flat when compared to November’s index, with December being up just over 1 percent from November’s index. The total year’s POS Index was down about 1 percent from 2023 numbers. Q4 index number were 6 percent below 2023 4th quarter results.
All in all, 2024 POS activity was down slightly. With changes coming to the economy with the new administration taking over, 2025 appears to be something that will be extremely difficult to predict. We will be starting a new year of indexing next month and will be changing some of the parameters as we’ve done for several years. We will also provide the details as to how we will determine the index activity moving forward for 2025.
