November 2023, Volume 2
MONTHLY POS REPORTS
Our base point of January 2021 saw the COVID-19 pandemic beginning to lose steam, resulting in a significant rebound in POS activity. Due to strong growth in 2022, there is the good probability that we will see a slowdown of POS activity in 2023. Outside influences will also affect 2023, including supply chain issues and inflation.
September 2023 was up 3.5 percent from August, making it the second largest POS month for the year. This year is running 3.5 percent behind last year’s record year, but POS activity for 2023 is still holding its own on an overall basis. September is typically a strong month and this September did not disappoint. In general, 2023 POS is continuing to exhibit above average activity.
